Sewing Lessons
At Home of Hope, the children are learning valuable vocational skills through the use of three donated treadle sewing machines, which operate without electricity. They receive two lessons each week and have already produced hundreds of face masks to share with their community, as well as clothing for themselves. This opportunity has instilled a deep sense of pride and accomplishment, allowing the children not only to contribute to others but also to envision a future where sewing could become a source of livelihood.
